A Cup, Twitch Rivals and a Fortnite Outfit
Streaming Fortnite has taken me from a channel I started in 2014 to hosting tournaments and seeing myself in the game. Here are three moments from the journey.
What was the Nick Eh 30 Cup?
November 22, 2020: together with Epic Games, I hosted the Nick Eh 30 Cup, a Fortnite tournament with my name on it.
The game: Fortnite, the game I started playing in December 2017.
What was the Twitch Rivals event?
August 2023: I hosted a Twitch Rivals event with a $50,000 prize pool.
Where it happened: on Twitch, where my livestreams have lived since September 1, 2019.
Is there really a Nick Eh 30 outfit in Fortnite?
Yes. On June 11, 2024, a Fortnite outfit based on me came out in the game.
What it wears: a white jersey with NEVER BACK DOWN across the chest in red-to-purple letters, the same words you'll find on our Never Back Down designs.
How does this connect to the merch?
The words: Never Back Down is on the outfit and on two designs in the shop: a red-to-purple version and a bold black version that adds Never Give Up.
The colours: red runs through the whole collection, from the NICK EH30 wordmark to the red box logo.
The name: the EH Team and EH stablished in Canada designs come straight from the Eh in Nick Eh 30.
